Is your child a keen performer, destined for stage or screen? We run a drama and theatre school in Thetford called the Magic Floor Academy where we welcome children aged 6-18 of all abilities.
Summer Skills Term 2026
The curtain has fallen on another fantastic production, and now the focus turns to growth, confidence, and creativity as we begin our Skills Term. Over the next term, our young performers will be developing their singing, acting, dancing, and stagecraft in fun, engaging sessions designed to build technique and confidence.
This is an exciting time in the Magic Floor Academy calendar, giving students the chance to learn new skills, make friends, and shine in a supportive environment before rehearsals begin for our next big production this September.
What will the next show be? We’re keeping that under wraps for now—but trust us, it will be worth the wait. Stay tuned for the big reveal!
Our Theatre School
The Magic Floor Academy is a stage school which provides expert training for the three essential pillars of Musical Theatre: acting, singing and dancing. Not only will your child receive top quality teaching, they will also get the opportunity to perform with the rest of our school and the chance to perform with our adult company. We are sure the kids can teach us oldies a thing or two!
We are based at the Admirals Academy in Thetford, right on the border between Norfolk and Suffolk. Ideally located for those between Norwich, Cambridge and Bury St. Edmunds. Contact us now if you’re interested.
