Is your child a keen performer, destined for stage or screen? We run a drama and theatre school in Thetford called the Magic Floor Academy where we welcome children aged 6-18 of all abilities.
Autumn 23/Spring 24 Term
Our Autumn 23/Spring 24 terms: Matilda JR. The Musical! Calling all “Revolting Children”, our academy’s next production is Matilda JR by Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin, based on the book by Roald Dahl. Come see our students bring to life the characters of this fabulous story, from Miss Trunchball to Miss Honey and Matilda of course!
Our Theatre School
The Magic Floor Academy is a stage school which provides expert training for the three essential pillars of Musical Theatre: acting, singing and dancing. Not only will your child receive top quality teaching, they will also get the opportunity to perform with the rest of our school and the chance to perform with our adult company. We are sure the kids can teach us oldies a thing or two!
We are based at the Guildhall in Thetford, right on the border between Norfolk and Suffolk. Ideally located for those between Norwich, Cambridge and Bury St. Edmunds. Contact us now if you’re interested.
